What is called the money channel
Different Destiny Matrix systems define the money channel as different sets of points, which is why interpretations across websites do not always match. In this system, the channel consists of four points in the lower-right part of the chart:
- entry into the money channel — the mindset a person brings into any activity involving exchange and reward;
- money task — a quality that helps cultivate a calmer attitude toward money and work;
- balance of money and relationships — a point shared by the money channel and the relationship channel;
- energy of money ($) — the activities and mindset in which creating value feels natural to the person.
The main number is the energy of money: this is the number shown in the calculation result under the "Money" section. The other points refine it. All of them address questions about habits and attitudes toward work and exchange, not how much a person will earn.
Where to find the money position
On the chart, the money position is marked with the $ symbol, and all points of the channel are gathered in the "How to read your matrix" block under the "Money" tab. If you do not have a chart yet, calculate your matrix. You do not need a separate calculation for money: the channel is part of the overall chart.
How the numbers are calculated:
- The year point and the center give the entry into the money channel.
- The year point and the channel entry give the money task.
- The bottom point and the center give the entry into the relationship channel.
- The sum of the two entries is the point of balance of money and relationships.
- The entry into the money channel plus the balance point give the energy of money.
Each time a number exceeds 22, it is reduced by summing its digits. The formulas are fixed: the same date always yields the same numbers.
How to read the money position step by step
- Find the number in the money position.
- Open the meaning of the Arcana in the catalog and read the section on the money position. A general description of the Arcana is not enough here: you need its interpretation specifically for money questions.
- Formulate a question. For example, for 8: "How clearly do I negotiate payment?" For 10: "How do I react to changes at work?"
- Consider the context. Look at the channel entry and the money task, as well as the center of the chart—the comfort zone against which the money position is read. If a number repeats in other places, read it separately for each position: the question depends on its place in the chart.

Example of reading the money position
Let's take a sample date: 25.07.1989. The numbers are calculated according to the rules of this system—using the same calculation as the calculator on the site. The year point is 9, the center is 10, and the bottom point is 5.

How to read it: in the money position sits 8, Justice—the theme of measure, fair agreements, and responsibility (about Arcana 8). The question for this position is: "How do I negotiate exchange and keep commitments?" The channel entry is 19, The Sun, and the money task is 10, Wheel of Fortune: they add questions about the mindset I bring to an undertaking and how I relate to changes at work. The center of this chart is also 10, so the question can be expanded: how do I make agreements when conditions change? Everyday example: the theme of measure can be an occasion to calmly examine how you negotiate payment for your work. It does not explain why a person has experienced financial difficulties.
What the money channel cannot tell you
- Income. The matrix does not show the amount, level, or growth of earnings.
- Timelines. "When money will arrive" is not a question for this position.
- Investments. The chart cannot be used to decide what to invest in. Such decisions require a financial professional.
- Profession. The number in the money position does not choose a job for a person.
Questions
Can I calculate the money channel without the full matrix? No. The points of the channel are calculated from points across the entire chart, so the full matrix is built first. The general calculator does this.
Does the same number in different places mean the same thing? No. An 8 in the money position answers a question about exchange, while an 8 in the center speaks about the comfort zone.
Is it possible to "open" the money channel? No. This is a symbolic position for reflection. Neither a ritual nor a matrix reading changes your income.
