The Relationship Line in the Destiny Matrix: How to Find and Read It

In short. Your personal relationship line is read from your own matrix—using a single date of birth. It addresses what a person looks for in intimacy and what expectations they bring into relationships. It says nothing about a specific partner or a couple's future. For a symbolic look at shared themes between two people, a separate chart based on two dates is used—and it does not predict the future of a relationship either.

What the personal relationship line shows

In this system, the relationship line is the relationship channel—four points in the lower-right part of the chart:

• entry into the relationship channel — how a person opens up to people and what feelings they look for alongside someone else;
• karmic lesson — a habitual reaction worth noticing so it does not make decisions for you;
• balance of money and relationships — a point shared by the relationship channel and the money channel;
• energy of relationships (♥) — what kind of relationships fulfill a person and what they bring into intimacy.

The main number is the energy of relationships: this is the number shown in the calculation result under the "Relationships" section. The other points refine it. This is a question about you—what matters to you in intimacy, how you build trust, what situations repeat—rather than about a partner.

Personal line and compatibility are different calculations

Both charts are an interpretation, not a forecast. You cannot tell from a personal line whether two people are right for each other. Nor can you tell from the shared chart: it offers topics for conversation, not a verdict.

Where to find the line

On the chart, the relationship position is marked with the ♥ symbol, and all points of the channel are gathered in the "How to read your matrix" block under the "Relationships" tab. If you do not have a chart yet, calculate your matrix.

How the numbers are calculated:

1. The bottom point and the center give the entry into the relationship channel.
2. The bottom point and the channel entry give the karmic lesson.
3. The year point and the center give the entry into the money channel.
4. The sum of the two entries is the point of balance of money and relationships.
5. The entry into the relationship channel plus the balance point give the energy of relationships.

Any number greater than 22 is reduced by summing its digits. The relationship position shares the balance point with the money position, so these two areas are linked on the chart. Moreover, the entry into the relationship channel and the karmic lesson are also the first two numbers of the karmic tail: the third is the bottom point itself.

How to read the number in the position

1. Find the number in the relationship position.
2. Open the meaning of the Arcana in the catalog and read the section on relationships, not just the general description.
3. Formulate a question about yourself. For example, for 6: "What do I choose in intimacy, and do I talk about it openly?"
4. Consider the context — the channel entry, the karmic lesson, and the center of the chart, the comfort zone. If a number repeats in other positions, read it separately for each one: the question depends on its place in the chart.

Example of a personal reading

Let's take a sample date: 01.02.2001. The numbers are calculated according to the rules of this system—using the same calculation as the calculator on the site. The year point is 3, the bottom point is 6, and the center is 12.

How to read it: in the relationship position sits 6, The Lovers—the theme of choosing from the heart and being in agreement with oneself (about Arcana 6). Question for yourself: what do I look for in intimacy, and am I choosing it consciously? The channel entry is 18, The Moon: I can ask how much I trust my feelings when opening up to someone. The center of this chart is 12, The Hanged Man, the theme of pausing, so another useful question is: do I give myself time to understand what I want? Everyday example: the theme of choice invites you to discuss your expectations with your partner. It does not say whether this person is right for you.

What the line does not predict

• The date of a wedding or of meeting a partner.
• Infidelity, a breakup, or a divorce.
• Whether a specific person is right for you.
• The outcome of a relationship.

If a relationship involves abuse, threats, or severe stress, support from loved ones and qualified professionals is needed, not an interpretation.

Questions

Do I need my partner's birth date? Not for your personal line—your own date is enough. A partner's date is needed for compatibility: that is a different chart and a different question.

Can I find out when I will get married? No. The matrix does not predict events or timelines.

Why does the same number repeat in different zones? Positions are calculated from shared points on the chart, so overlaps happen. In the example above, the number 6 appears in the bottom point, in the karmic lesson, in the balance point, and in the relationship position. Each place is read with its own question.
